Looking again
I miss my late second gen Camaro and my third gen so I've got some cash out and looking around. Hard top or t-top though. Not really interested in a convertible. 5 speed or automatic and either V8 is cool. Much prefer it to be a Iroc or Z28. I live in a emission county so the car cannot have too many mods unless it is 1989 back. I don't want to deal with a big project. Looking for a reliable car that I can take on powertour next year as well. The closer to Georgia the better. Looking to spend around $6000-$6500. I have cash now and ready to deal. Thanks for looking.

Re: Looking again
Well, what have we here?! Lol. Want your old sled back? Haha. Seriously, pickins are mighty slim these days for nice cars in that price range. You are probably in the best area of the country, this side of the Rocky Mountains, at least, for those cars. I am also looking for another nice 3rd gen, and have been shopping. Looking for early, 82-84 cars, this time. I will keep you in the loop, should I uproot something.

Re: Looking again
Hey Rudy,
I wondered if you still had it. I was going through my photos the other day and saw pictures I took while on power tour and really I had more fun in that car than I did in our '13 Challenger. Keep me in mind if you see something.
What have you done to the car since you've had it?

Re: Looking again
I replaced the Kumhos with a new set of 255/50/16 BFG Sports, and that is all. It is resting comfortably in the shed for a few more weeks, until more favorable Fall weather kicks in. It rains nearly every day at this time of year down here, and the bugs are off the chain, also. The old car still has the rear main seal drip, and the AC bleeds down after a while. Overall, just about what I figured it would be. It has been a real head turner at the shows and cruise nights its been to. Very few this nice and original anymore. I spend lots of time explaining the Z03 and G92 groups on the car to those who realize it is not a garden variety Z. I want to add an 82-84 stick car to the herd, and those are even harder to find in suitable condition. I missed out on that super nice Blue 84 from Ky earlier this year. I had to redo the hvac system on the house this spring, and that blew the car budget up for a few months. Really want a white L69 stick car this time. I would also do an LG4/4spd or 5spd in a clean Z or Pacecar. Not interesed in autos or cfi cars if I can help it.

Car: Gave Up Looking, Bought Corvette
Re: Looking again
I was in communication with this guy for a while trying to get him down on price. He's stuck firm at $7K. http://atlanta.craigslist.org/wat/cto/4641490596.html
The car seems solid, says everything works, if it were a 350 car it would already be mine.

Re: Looking again
I just posted a 1982 Z28 (Ohio). Bought it new 32 years ago - originally a 4 speed car & I upgraded to 5 speed and hydraulic clutch. Navy blue with blue velour interior. Could use some paint and a little interior work. Ziebarted when new - no body work ever. I can send pics (if I can figure out how!!!) Asking $3700.
