Those with in-dash video...

How is the clearance with the screen coming out? On my TA it looks like it might be very close with my T-handle shifter. Anyone have any problems? I plan on taking my AVIC-N1 from my GSX and putting it in my TA but before I go through all the hassle of mounting the hideaway unit, XM reciever, running all the antennas and cabling, I wanted to make sure about clearance. Here is a pic of my car and the shifter. It looks close:shrug:

Yea it has the intergrated GPS navigation as well as G measuring so I can see what my Gs are when I am turning or accelerating. It was great in the GSX before that car went down and since the TA is getting close to being able to drive I want to put it in it. I am just worried about that shifter **** because it looks close. Don't want to go through all the hassle of putting it in only to find out it smacks the **** opening.

Get tape measure or ruler.

Measure height of LCD. (A)

Measure distance from current deck to T-handle. (B)

Subtract A from B.

If the number is positive you're golden. :P
