More specs are needed if u keep that amp. Is it 2 ch, mono, 4 chan?
200 bucks u can buy a pretty good hitting budget system. Sony or Poineer

its pretty easy to come up with a good setup for that budget, if you still have the stock radio, you might have to buy another one, after all, it will only sound as good as the deck you use will allow.

Re: 200 dollars to spend!!!

that will power an mtx MAYBE 5500 series, or a kicker comp well. is your box ported or sealed?

i had an eclipse 4 channel, had the fronts hooked up to some infiniti's, and the rear channels briged to an mtx 4500 series 10" in a ported box in a saturn hatchback. it was GREAT sound quality, and hit pretty hard inside, but wasnt extremely noticeable out.

Re: 200 dollars to spend!!!

i was in the exact same spot like 2 months ago but go on ebay stores and find a store called sonic electronics i had 200 bucks and it got me 4 12"ma audio ma12xe but just a pair is 100 and one is oly like 60 an the have better subs im savin for the d4 series just read the specs they got a really nice cooling unit that means you can push them that much harder theire competition grade and ive seen Ma audio at every db drag race ive been at and ive only got mine on a tempory amp on 240w and only have 2 of the 12s in my car and you can here me from about a block away no **** and thats there cheaper brand but get one of there ma10d4 s and i would make a new box because mine is a sealed box that matches the recomended cubic foot per sub they sound about twice as good as my temp mdf box with the same amp in a box that was to to big and dont worry the subs come with a book that will go through what size your sub needs how to measure your cubic food and how to plan best material to use and even 6 diffrent was to wire your subs to diffrent ohms and in parallel or in series and just so the box is in the specs of the sub because if your box dosent match the sub they could sound funny but if you make your own fibreglass box min fits right in my spare tire space and i built it including all the wood fleece and fibreglass resin brushes and bondo-glass for 50 bucks so i mean if you dont mind puttin in a lil work it is so worth it and you got enough right now
