For something a little nicer for final appearance, take a look at this guys page, he's pretty good with stuff like this, the texture coat and then paint route that he does would probably turn out a lot better once you are done.

you learn well grasshopper. make sure you sand off all the texture off the abs before you repaint it

Don't like it. Not because I don't like your work, I've just never liked the look of double din units crammed into the space where a din and a half was originally. IMO the only way to make it look right is to relocate the heater controls to have a more consistent border around the radio.

looking good so far. i know this takes some work to get done right, keep at it. I'm planning on doing something similar with my 4th gen dash, so i grabbed an extra bezel to experiment on (or destroy miserably, whichever happens first)

im actually thinking of doing the same thing but building the enclosure about the a/c controls since it still works in that kinda awkward open area under the air vents next to the cluster. but very nice bro.
