Fusible Link
I have zero volts on the constant hot wire org/blk (orange wire with black trace) at my radio harness. my wiring diagram tells me that this wire has a 20A fusible link somewhere between light switch pin A and the harness itself. the diagram also tells me that this FL is in a block called the "convenience center". after souring the ol interweb for a good hour now I have yet to come up with a location of the "convenience center" which isn't so convenient.
has anyone replaced the fusible link for the radio yet? if so, Where is this "convenience center"? how much of a butt kicker is it to do?

Re: Fusible Link
Under the dash drivers side between the steering column and the stereo/hvac console, behind the ALDL connector. There should be a couple clips or a bolt to undo and it will flip down and you'll be able to see the fuse

Re: Fusible Link
I know how you feel, I deleted my convenience center when I switched to a 4th gen body control module.
It was a very stupid design and actually it screwed with me many times namely the fuses that were there.
