1987 Stock Delco Radio Replacement

I have an original Delco radio that I am having problems with on the tuner only. The radio stations fade out and I need to knock the unit to get it to work......it gets progressively worse and sometimes doesnt work at all. I am wondering does anyone know of a company that refurbishes the stock unit.....and if so how much. I do have a Kenwood pull-out stereo from about 10 years ago that I could put in but I would sorely miss the lighted clock which I am so used to viewing (unless someone has knowledge of a good looking aftermarket one I could install somewhere on the dash).
Thanks in advance.

Im having the same problem, I posted on here but got nothing back. If I manage to fix mine then i'll let you know how. Ive already had it out and resoldered a lot of stuff inside (dry joints???) next im gonna put a ohmmeter on the antenna and see if its shorted somewhere....

I just bought a cd changer 2 days before mine started acting up...
