wiring up the Distributor on a 92 harness

wiring up the Distributor on a 92 harness

im sick of my tbi, well the ecm in general....so i can do the whole swap easily, quick question, ...how do i get the distributor to work? i mean, the wiring harness is completly different for the secondary vaccume advanced dist that i have....do they make a dist with secondary vaccum advanced for a 92 rs type wiring harness???

Engine: Canfield 195 headed 358ci
Transmission: TH350, Art Carr 9.5"
Axle/Gears: 3.92 Dana 44
On mine the power wire is the thick pink wire going to your stock dist and the tach wire is tan. You could either get female connectors and plug them onto the dist or better yet go to a junkyard and find a car with a vacuum advance dist and cut off the harness peice that clips onto the dist and splice your wires into it
