Which one shoul di hook mine up to a constant vacuum or the one that kicks in at half throttle?

Car: 1982 Trans-Am
Engine: 355 w/ ported 416s
Transmission: T10, hurst shifter
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt, true-trac, 3.73
Ported - opens just after idle
Manifold - always open

Well now you went and did it, opened up the real can of worms.
You can do a search, I think Chickenman and F-body88 had a debate about it. but, to sum up:

Your choice. Try one, then try the other, go with the one that suits you best based on your driving habits etc.

Exactly. You will not find a better answer for this question. It is all based on peference and individual needs.
