on edelbrocks you need to get a tuning kit that will have diffrent metering rods and springs for the primarys if you wanna adjust the secondarys then you just need to get some smaller jets.

Make sure you get the kit that is model specific for your model number on your carburetor. Use the chart in the instruction manual for your carb (or if you don't have it, look up the PDF file on edelbrock.com) for the right jetting. To get to the jets, you must disconnect the accel pump on the drivers side, and disconnect the choke rod on the passenger side. Dont lose these pins! Then unscrew all the top screws (t-15 torx bit?) in a cris cross pattern. This will expose the fuel bowls and jets. Unscrew the jets with the PROPER sized flathead screwdriver. Using one too small will damage the jet. Replace the jets with the new ones provided in your kit. Put it all back together and you are done.
