edelbrock intake fit 87 lg4? made for 85 lg4?

bought edelbrock intake for my 85 trans am lg4. now i want to put it on my 87 trans am lg4. are the heads going to cause a problem? can someone show me how to change the holes if i have to thanks.

It won't bolt directly on because of the two center bolt holes on each side. You need to change the manifold holes from 90 degrees to 72 degrees (closer to vertical).

Try a search, I believe someone has posted pictures of it.

I haven't done it myself. The two methods I recall hearing were taking a rat-tail file to it, and using a drill bit.
