tbi to carb questions
in converting my tbi to carb. so the parts i need are carb, intake, 3 port afpr, hei dizzy? and do i just leave the stock ecm were it is and just use the connectors that i still need? and could i leave sensors like knock sensor, coolant temp, and some sensors i could use for diagnostics?

There is a link in the "welcome to the carburetor forum" sticky that gives the basics of the EFI to carb conversion.
The rule of thumb is, "You get what you pay for." I would add, "...or less." The eBay billet distributors are probably fine, but you for sure won't get the support you would getting a distributor from MSD, for instance.
Yes, you can use an external coil, small cap distributor, and MSD box. In fact, you could use an external coil, large cap distributor, and MSD box if you chose. Or a large cap integral coil distributor and an MSD box.
