New distributor, carb and manifold. Although you wont gain any power over the Qjet

I have a demon carb already and an aftermarket intake manifold so all I need is an after market distributor?
Do I need to touch anything from the transmission?

I just replaced mine not too long ago. Didn't need a new distributor it's just a normal vacuum advance dist.

When I swapped my Qjet out for a 650 Edelbrock (qjet was toast), I also took out a lot of the EGR crap to clean out the bay a bit (I don't have emissions where I am) I disconnected everything from the Qjet. installed the new manifold and carb (also swapped out the dist. for a new one) and it fired right up. Only issue i had was the gauge fuse blowing on me, I ended up disconecting all the pigtails for the EGR system and now the car runs amazingly. Made just a smidge over 140HP,160ft/lbs to the wheels. and that's on a 26 year old motor, with 200,000kms on it. Can't wait to rebuild it and do some more bolt-ons!

if you have any issues, I'm up in camp right now, but I'm home next week and I'd be more than willing to see exactly what I had to disconnect and let you know

I have a demon 650 and I already have an aftermarket manifold so I guess I should put a distributor?

If you have a computer controlled distributor then you need a new one.
