(Fairly long) How does this setup sound?
Car: 1987 Z28 Camaro Used to have a CC Carb but now has been converted to non-computerized.
Engine: 1977 350 Chevy 4 bolt main, bored .030 over to 355, acid dipped, fully varnished interior for quick oil drainage, all new Federal-Mogul bearings cam and mains, all new brass freeze plugs, micro-polished crank, stock rods, new flat top pistons with 9.6-1 compression all fully balanced, all rings cut the very same on each piston, heads are new Vortec heads that have had the valve guide bosses shaved down and screw-in studs installed with 1.52 ratio Comp Cams Magnum roller-tip rockers, and comp cam pushrods, the cam is a BlueRacer with .445 lift , the intake is a Edelbrock Performer RPM and the carb is a Edelbrock #1406 600cfm. 4-barrel. The ignition consists of all stock GM HEI distributor and plug wires, with AC Delco TS-45 spark plugs.
Exhaust: Hedman non-emissions shorty headers, custom built 2&1/2 inch Y pipe into single 2&1/2 inch pipe to the back were it runs into a Pro Street Muffler and splits into duals out the back.
Transmission: Raptor 700R-4 fully competition ready and capable of handling 600 HP. Shifter is a Hurst Dual Gate II and I have a stock 10-bolt rear-end with what I believe to be a 2.73 gear ratio? And I have 87 IROC wheels on it.
My question is what kind of Horsepower should I expect from this setup? The builder said from 375-440 now that’s an awfully broad range?? And how good do you think it should run in the quarter? Im quite new to these third-gens this being my first car I picked it up last summer for 3500 bucks and it had a brand new GM Goodwrench 350 crate motor in it which I pulled and stored to install the new motor that I had a local speed shop build to my dads specs . What could I do to improve it and is it a pretty good setup compared with most of you guys on here. Im pretty limited in funds at the moment, but up next may be a roller cam install, 4th gen rear, and leather interior , and possibly a paint job.

I don't know I'm no expert but that number doesn't sound right with that cam. Maybe if you had a bigger cam that may be possible. I am pushing 400 hp with a .488/.510 cam and just about the same setup, but maybe I am wrong.
And that 2 1/2 inch collector that goes to the muffler out back is going to cost you some power. Definately upgrade to a 3" system.

I WOULD RATHER PUSH A CAMARO THAN DRIVE AN IMPORT
1983Z28 350w/ edelbrock performer RPM power package with 64cc aluminum heads, dynomax shorty headers, 700R-4 with shift kit, 750cfm carb, edelbrock 3" exhaust system, ASCD SS hood, 16" IROC rims.
future mods:
completely done over suspension, black paint with flames, Hurst shifter, dakota digital gauge package, procharger supercharger.

And I would seriously consider a girdle for that rear and some better gears. That thing is going to feel like a dead fish with those 2.73's. Those factory rears are weak but you can toughen them up quite a bit with some aftermarket parts.
