Upset because he cant sell the parts he bought from me and make money. Used runners were in good condition and got a good deal, admits to seeing after looking closer the imperfection he does not like, so i guess he just wont make money this time, $240 for edelbrock tpi runners shipping and paid w/paypal included. **** you tunedperformance !!!!!!!!!!

funny how you did not talk about the post when someone bought $20,000 tree chipper from me and complained that the tires blew out on his 800 mile trip home, well I only take it on 20 mile trips and they never blew on me and the looked good to him too or he would have changed the tires.
YOU can see it in the picture after you look close, but you were to worried about getting it for a better deal emailling me with offers and you BULL$hit !!!!!!! NOT my fault again, but anyone can leave feedback and just sound like they are being cheated !!!!!

Not to take sides, since I know neither of you but....

It sounds like you missed seeing a defect in the part that was in the pic. Maybe he didn't disclose it in his text in his ad, but if it was there in the pic for you to seem you overlooked it & bought it anyways.....Sounds like the error was on your end for buying. If his pic in the ad showed the defect & you bought it anyways.....He owes you nothing. You should have paid attention to the pic closer & asked before buying. And depending on the crack you see, it may be such a minor defect that the gasket remedies it. I don't know.....I don't care.

Bottom line? When a Buyer overlooks a defect in a pic yet bought anyways, the problem lies with the Buyer, not the Seller. Maybe the Seller did not fully disclose the condition, but the flaw evident in the pic & the Buyer should look close & ask. Live, Learn, Admit your mistake in not looking close & asking & move on.....

Generally speaking on this sort of topic. My comments are not a comdenation or advocation of either party regarding this dispute. However, I don't see the point of any vendor in taking this type of dispute to the airwaves potentially ruining or damaging their credibility and business. Whether or not the vendor here--and I really am at a loss figuring who is who in this debate--sold a defective part or if the buyer purchased said part without clearly looking at it, is beside the point, at least to me.

What I will take away from this topic is that if I ever needed something and these two names came up as a seller, I would shy away from that deal based on past events. Am I going to gamble that the part that I need is not only unreturnable but a fight erupts over returning it based on who said what.

Imagine if you will for a moment then, if the seller had said, you know, I'll take it back, no questions asked. His credibility goes through the roof. His reputation stays intact and most likely sells more things to more people.

The purchaser then lauds the seller, like we do here about various vendors such as UMI Performance, Spohn, Summit Racing, or Energy Suspension, making the buyer a customer for life.

To me none of these things happened and has only created doubt, at least in my mind, of ever dealing with any of the individuals party to this problem.

My parents taught me that the only thing you have control over is your honor. Don't ever do anything today that would embarass your loved ones in tomorrow's newspaper. I hope this problem is resolved satisfactorily to both parties.

TUNEDPERFORMANC IS A THIEF, he got paypal to give him back $60 from my account because he claims he didnt not look at the picture until receiving them and then said i knew of the problem. I didnt see a problem and he saw the pics before purchase which he says he can now see .

i would assume you are talking about this thread...and since you delete all pics and info of for sale items it makes it a bit hard to take your word for it. to be honest you deleting all info on sold items make you look suspicious.

Not to go into details but i also had a bad experience with John Munao. Only as the seller. I would have to agree, I would be very hesitant to do business again. Beware.

He jacked me around on a torque arm .I sent the money then he backed out.
Then he started deleting stuff from the post. Why would anyone delete stuff from a post unless they were dishonest. Then I had to get my money back through pay pal. My money was tied up for a good month. By the way if you can buy somthing then sell it for a profit that is called capitalism, Of which this country was built on.

It wouldn't hurt to do a screenshot of the thread or PM at time of purchase...

If they edit the post or delete a pic after the sale, you still have evidence before the edit.

That would've helped in this situation and would be a good habit when buying something on the forums.

What seems funny here is that john8169 disappeared from this thread after others chimed in about their problem transactions with him. Also it is pretty bad when someone has to keep changing EBAY names. hmmm.
As for Tunedperformance I have respect for him due to what he does bring to this forum and would be willing to deal with him if he had something I needed.
