I called yesterday about a 91 T/A vert i found.Its a good drive away but the guy told me that it had hail damage when he bought it and he replaced all damaged sheet metal and repainted it white(the original color).New tan top recently and new 245-50-16s.He said the only bad thing about the car is that the tan leather seats are pretty bad in the front (shich is pretty normal) and that the car got door dinged and knocked about a halpf dollars worth of paint off behind the drivers door.The car has 102,000 miles and he says it has been very well maintained.The car is a 305 TPI/auto and the guy that owns sounds to be at least 60 years old.My question is:does this sound like its worth $4000?What kind of mileage will the SD 305 get?He says he would trust the car to drive to california.Thanks for any advice and if anyone has oics of one that would be great.

Any 3rd gen vert in good shape is worth $4k at least.
