Do you want a 89Vert?

1989 Camaro Convertible! I found one in the junkyard and they wont sell it to me. But I can cut the back half off if I wanted to. This would yield a complete convertible setup. I dont know if it is worth it to pull. Would anyone be interested if I did? Let me know before it goes to someone else.

I already pulled the trunk hatch, the convertible top and the folding decklid. Also some of the interior stuff as well.

You can't buy it and roll it away but you can part it out for them?

Here's what I need:

1.) Driver's side, T-Top style visor - Black.

2.) Tan/Doeskin seat belt replacements

3.) Passenger's side door pocket/cupholder - tan/brown.

4.) Interior fascia under visors.

5.) Used but in good condition rear brake proportioning valve (drum-to-disk conversion)

See any of that stuff?

None of those parts. Its a gray interior and the engine and tranny and differential are all gone. All related parts are gone with those accesories. I checked today. They stripped it pretty good over the weekend.

It's all good. You can have the fascia and I'll take the a driver's side (black visor) if it exists.

15+shipping?

Can't everyone be happy?

The fascia is good except this part right here. You could fiberglass it in the back and you would never know. Wait ya you still would. Here is a pic to take a look at. When you press the piece together the crack dissappears.

Sunvisors on a convertible are the same as a T-top, and we all know there are plenty of those to be found in the boneyards.

As far as the center console switch, the tabs on mine busted too, but you can use the hatch release switch from non-convertible models. It's not original, but looks cleaner than a busted switch popping out of the console.

FYI- anytime anyone sees a convertible in the junkyard, pull as many convertible specific parts that are in useable condition as you can off of it. Ask questions later, they don't make 99% of these parts anymore and sooner or later (likely, sooner) you will find an interested party...

I have some excellent condition gray sunvisors. I'll spray paint them black or dip em in grease. Since they are custom they run about $130. Let me know if you are interested

No, i talking about a different part that this car may not have come with, there is a long plastic piece that goes around the LATCHES on the top, not the piece that goes under the sunvisors. Similar in size.

also if yall need sunvisors, there is a good junk yard around here, i can check it out.
