Convertible or T.tops ?

I'm thinking about looking to swap my 92 Z/28 Vert. For either aT.top 90 Iroc or 92 Z/28. I have owned several T.top cars but only three convertibles. My question is and considering where im posting this is probably a crazy question. Which would you choose? To keep the Vert or do the switch to T.tops

Re: Convertible or T.tops ?

If you're at all interested in the value of the car...the convertible will increase in value before the others.

Re: Convertible or T.tops ?

I think the ttop versions of these cars is what people typically think about when you say thirdgen but vert will tend to keep it's value better. I think ttops are nice but they are just a tease. I'm getting rid of my ttop for a vert.

Re: Convertible or T.tops ?

i dunno about the vert guys on here, but a lot of us t-top guys have issues with keeping them leak-free. and as others have said, the verts will be better value-wise as time goes on. stick with the vert!

Re: Convertible or T.tops ?

I have both and will keep both... though my T-Tops are nice.... they are not a vert. but t-tops allow for a little rooflessness, plus they are tinted glass (mostly) which is really nice when it's cold or rainy, you still have the roofless feeling without getting wet.

Re: Convertible or T.tops ?

I have the opportunity to buy a 2000 SS Vert in the next day or so.Which is another reason I need to decide. The SS would be more of a daily drive than my Z since I only drive it on sunny dry day's on the weekends.

I just got a call- 86 Iroc Z28 Camaro t-top car that has been in the family since new. Bad news- deer hit- damaged hood, fender, bumper on the passenger side. Good news- $350 price tag!
I'm a thinking I'm going to hook up the car hauler and go get it, and have it here when hubby gets home!
I think I have an addiction!

Re: Convertible or T.tops ?

Got the vert out over the weekend.Definetly going to keep it.I now realize it would have been a major screw up to let it go for T-Tops.But dont get me wrong i still love T Tops to. Let the sun shine down its time to pop the tops.
