Question for those who have replaced their tops...
Should I buy the convertible top weatherstrip kit when changing the top or can I use the existing? Any thoughts or recommendations. Car is a weekend cruiser so I will not be driving it in the rain or with the top up much. Thanks in advance!

Re: Question for those who have replaced their tops...
It probably depends on the condition of your existing striping and if you can (or whom ever replaces the top) can remove it without ripping it. If it's still soft and plush then you probably can get away without it... providing you can get it off without damaging it.
I know when I replace my top I plan on ordering the vinyl wear decal, and all new stripping, but all of mine could stand to be replaced.

If you can remove the original weatherstripping without tearing it you can re-use it no problem.
