Cutting 85-90 Firebird ground effects
I am converting a 92 Firebird convertible to the 85-90 ground effects/bumpers. I've run into a bit of a problem where I'm not sure how much I need to cut off the side ground effects to fit.
Anyone have a picture of the bottom of the side ground effects and about how much is left of them? It's hard to compare the 91/92 style ones I do have to the 85-90 to get an idea on how much to cut off due to the difference in shape.

Im guessing you're talking about the rocker panel area?
just put it up there and trim away till it clears the extra structures and hangs correctly with a factory look. They sure weren't built with kid gloves. The ones I've seen weren't the cleanest cuts.
