Fan question
Is our fan powered by a switch or the ecm? Cause my fan motor burned on the inside and since replacing it, it still doesn't work.
thanx in advance,

I'm pretty sure all tbi's are controlled by a switch. Mine's a '90 and is controlled by a switch. An easy way to make sure is to call Summit and ask if a new switch is recommened if you purchase the hypertech thermomaster chip.

FYI, the fan relay usually dies before the snap switch. So if replacing it doesnt help...get a new fan relay. Also, if your old fan motor drew enough amps when it burned up, you could have fried the fusible link at the battery.
