Water Pump Pulley

Hey Guys,

Stupid question - but I am about to replace my Water Pump & Rad Hoses on my 305 Tpi (1986 V Belt Version)

Question is I have removed the old pump and I am waiting for the new AC Delco one to arrive in stock from the dealer.

Do I have to remove the circular plate from the old pump (that fits onto the pump shaft that the four bolts go into which holds the pulley on to pump)?????

Or does the new pump have this circular plate already fixed to the shaft?

Just trying to find out so that I can prepare the job before new pump arrives.

Any info gratefully received

The new pump "should" come with one. I have yet to see one that didn't.

Have fun!
