Which head does the sender/switch for the primary cooling fan go in?
In my pass side head, I have a connector that looks like the knock sensor(radiator fan switch?). In the driver's side, there's a similar connector that has a square metal plug(temperature sender/switch?). Is this right? The terminals both broke off when i took off my manifolds so i had to get new ones...I was 99% sure that this was the way they went in.
The reason I ask is that my fan isn't coming on at all. I warm the motor up to just before redline before I have to kill it so it won't overheat.
I don't think it's the fan relay since it worked before the cam swap and the fuse checks out ok.
Any ideas?

I'm waiting on the same answer, I just ordered HYP-4028 fan switch, should be here next week. But I need to know where to put it and how hard is the install. Hope we get an answer!

i dunno about the lg4 location but the fan switch is located on the pass side head between 6-8 cylinder i have a TBI lo3. should be in the same place

yup, that's what i thought and that's where i put it, no go. Maybe my fan is dead. I'll try directly powering the fan next.
The one in the driver's side head that's between cyl's 1 and 3 in the temp sender for the temp gauge, right? And the one in the intake water neck is for the primary fan?...maybe it's that one causing trouble.

on the lg4 the one in the driver's side head is for the temp gauge.
on the lg4 i think that one is for the ecm coolant sensor.
try grounding the wire to the sensor located on the pass side head. when you ground it it gives the relay a ground and should power up try that with the ignition switch in the on postion. if you don't hear the realy click the relay is bad if it does check all wiring and check the fan motor itself.
