What a/c system would you guys rec to replace the factory system?

first off...does your factory system operate properly? if so, i would buy a retrofit kit which is around 40 bucks. you will spend a lot less than finding a way to buy r-12 refrigerant and do an evac and recharge, which is going for approx. 45 bucks a pound, which is hard to find and obtain any how. convert it to an r-134a system. whats the problem with your sys.?
