just curious if removing the heater valve and all those lines and running straight hose from the radiator to the core then back out would make the engine temp run a lil higher?

well i have heard from some people to turn the heat on if your overheating some, to let to heatercore take some temperature out of the coolant. so i would figure if anything the engine would almost keep alittle cooler.

usually u dont want to run coolant through the core all the time, at least it seems that some dont think its a good idea.

Cars had coolant running through the heater core constantly for years before bypass valves started appearing.

Only if you have a "magic" heater core that somehow adds heat to the coolant.
