CSI waterpump for my 3rd gen?

My friend has a 96 camaro, LT1 and bought the csi pump and took out his impeller, and mounted it in his waterpump housing. is that possible with my waterpump on my 89 TBI V8 RS? im currently searching this as well. thanks!

I currently have one on my 88 stroker it flows 37 gpm and always keeps my car cool in the summer

You can, but you will have to rework your belt pullwy system.

Mezerie used to sell one that had an idler pulley on it so the serpintine belt would still run, but I haven't seen one in awhile.
