fan relay?

i got my camaro out from storage yesterday. and i took it on the highway and it was fine, but when i got in town it heated up to about 245 degrees.

and when i checked it, it looked like my fan was moving kindof slow.
heat was on high, and it didnt cool down much.

any suggestions?

Re: fan relay?

it could be the relay, switch, or fan itself.

when i had problems with the fan it was always the relay , but when my relay crapped out on mine it would completely not work.

your fan works so it could be the fan switch going bad.

but im not 100% so...

Re: fan relay?

Sounds like the fan motor may be give out, IMO. Usually the relays will quit all together.

Re: fan relay?

I just had this issue myself, it was my fan motor about to go out on me. I just bought new aftermarket fan assembly from Hadin performance. Works great now.
