AC Related Electrical Question

I'm wanting to remove the ECM from my 88 GTA (go'n carb).......

There's a dark green wire going from the AC clutch to the ECM, Why is this wire ran to the ECM and what do I do with it to remove the ECM ?

Re: AC Related Electrical Question

Diagram shows it to be the a/c on input. My guess would be to turn on the aux fan, since it is controlled by the ecm and comes on with the a/c.

Re: AC Related Electrical Question

So, If I cut the dk green wire off at the apex of the dk geen/white the clutch will still work correct ?

I'm building my own fan harness so not worried about the fans, Just need the compressor to work as normal.....

Thanks guy's,
