Hypertech hacking??

This question is a little off from thord gens but you guys are all pretty good on factory computers. I have a 97 Chevy truck 350 Vortec that I use to tow my second gen and a friend's third gen Camaro.
The Hypertech Programmer for its OBD computer is very limited in adjusting shift points, also the engine power "tuning" pings on even 93 octane.
Can these be "hacked" to decode their programming and add firmness and shift point changes on tranny and less timing add? I'm sure some of you guys have 4th gens with OBDIIS you tinker on.

Thanks.

Thanks, looks like a good potential company. I'm still a little new at this EFI stuff, used to jets and metering rods to tune.

One slightly related question, now the Scoggin Dickey has a TPI manifold base for Vortec heads could that base and the Camaro type runners and plenum be swapped on a Vortec truck like my 97? Any better than the Vortec intake system and anyone have a harness adapter?

Tunercat e mailed me back, end of the year for the trucks and their software. Anyone used their stuff?

Still would think one could hack the Hypertech for the trucks or Camaros.
