GM MAF or DFI 6
Which would you use and why? I have two cars, one is a MAF TPI Camaro and the other is a 71 Chevelle with DFI 6 and a TPI 350. Both cars need some tuning work to optimize their combos. I have a complete second DFI 6 harness and was wondering if I would be better off swapping the GM computer and harness for the DFI on the camaro or whether I should learn to tune the GM stuff and keep the stock computer in the Camaro. Does anyone here love their DFI 6 and hate their GM ECM? Has anyone swapped to DFI 6 and then wished that they had kept their stock computer and learned to tune for it instead? What would you rather play with?

Re: GM MAF or DFI 6
I played with DFI 6 once, and its definitely showing its age compared to programs like TunerCat and TunerPro nowadays. However, DFI allows you to make changes straight to the computer instantly, while using a stock computer you have to take the PROM out and reburn it every time.
I use a Moates Ostrich which allows for almost the same thing as the DFI, as a piggyback to the stock computer. It depends on how much money you want to spend to convert what you have.
