Super $8D upper table
Maybe I'm being simplistic, as I'm nothing more than a raw rookie, in the kindergarten class of EFI school. Seeing that the New Extended Upper VE table of the SUPER $8D xdf file covers all the original rpm ranges, once you've copied all the old upper table data over to the extended table, Do you still need the old table? If not how do we get rid of it?
Can it be successfully eliminated so the ECM is not trying to search two tables? I can see the possibility of working on one table, and forgetting the other table needed to be changed the same way. Why not just get rid of the old table altogether?
What am I missing, besides years worth of enlightenment.

Re: Super $8D upper table
The original table is no longer used in the ECM with Super AUJP. Only the new one in the Super AUJP bin is referenced.
I don't use TunerPro, but the XDF probably shows the original so you can use it on the original $8D as well. If you don't need it, ignore it. Or you can change the XDF yourself if it really bothers you.

Re: Super $8D upper table
So if a person never copied the old upper table over to the new upper table, then the new table would still be all zeros. If the old is not referenced, then what happens when the rpm's come up to 1800 and the ecm sees all zeros?
Past the original table, would a good starting point be copying the last value at each load. At least it would be ballpark close, and If my guess is correct, probably rich, which is better than leaning it out at higher rpm?
