Swapping wire harnesses - issues?
Hey all, I'm planning on swapping the wire harness from my 1990 bird (speed-density) into my 89 bird, which was MAF. I will also be swapping the engine over, not just the harness. My question is, what kind of issue would i run into in doing this? I have all the sensors for the speed density set-up and the ECM for it, but would there be any hidden challenges or large amounts of parts I would need to swap in order to successfully complete this?
A few areas I'm concerned with are as follows:
The connection block on the drivers-side of the firewall.
The connection behind the fender that goes to the computer
Any climate control/headlight wiring that would be affected.
I'm going to also swap every relay from the '90 into the 89 as well.

the motor harness has nothing to do with your lights every thing should plug and play. im doing the same swap but im goin from tbi to tpi so I get nickel and dimed to death with parts i need. good luck on your swap it will go smoother than mine.

Yeah I see that now, It just looked like the lights were wrapped up in the loom with the ECM harness, but now that I've got it removed from that side, it's apparent that they're separate.
