My Rat is mad at me

Hey RBob (or any of you fine gentlemen) it suddenly seems I 'm seriously under educated. 0013.bin (454/TH400) is un-useable, as is, for my set up (I see some problems) calibrations seem to be for a 305 & AOD. Sry for goin stupid on ya, any pointers? Suppose I should add this is a 9.8:1 458 built to over 400hp. Wasn't there a EBL tuning section here somewhere? I really have to thank 3rd gen members as this has been an invaluable source of information. If this is inappropriate, e-mail is np, but I thought the thread might be useful for those running the big chev on the EBL. Yes, I will be searching and reading, extensively.

Re: My Rat is mad at me

I checked the TCC params in 0013 and they do match for a TH400. What is the TH400 kickdown doing that it shouldn't be?

Note that the VE & main SA tables are based on ANTY for that calibration. If you look at the stock ANTY be sure to take into account the main SA bias value. Otherwise it will look like the stock stuff runs more timing then it does.

Over on the DIY_PROM board there is a Tuning with the EBL thread. About halfway down the page at this time. It is a long thread.

RBob.

Re: My Rat is mad at me

Rbob hey thanks for the reply. I will check in over on the DYI & correct the timing. Yes I see that your sa & ve are very close to the ones that I have made from ANTY and that makes me feel good. However the engine somehow disagreed (fuel pressure) with us. This is the first time it's gotten enough fuel. I reinstalled OE unit to drive it to get plugs. Makes me think I've overlooked a vital calibration. I'll get back to you when I've had more time to get on my feet with this nifty setup. Thanks again. Right now it's best if I follow my own advice, bite the weather bullet & get the timing & plugs changed.
Edit: I'm getting great results adjusting VE tables, and looking forward to some VE learn time. (I had overlooked 20+psi FP).
