Injector pulse at wide open throttle?
Looked around for a while, couldn't find an answer. Does the ECM still pulse the injectors at WOT or are the injectors held full open?

There is asynch mode and synch mode. In synch they alternate pulses as one fires on every other distributor reference pulse. If they cannot meet the A/F commanded I believe they both fire every DRP. If that is insufficient I believe they go static full on which is not good. I hope this is mostly correct.

Re: Injector pulse at wide open throttle?
Thanks for the reply. Wondering if I can put a pushbutton switch on the control line from the ECM to ground the injectors and give it a shot of fuel when starting to eliminate the extended crank time. Really a nuisance when it's cold out. Still thinking though.

Re: Injector pulse at wide open throttle?
Assuming the bin is similar to the ones i use there is a cranking pulsewidth multiplier VS TPS table.
0% TPS is simply 1, but 25-50% TPS multiplies the pulsewidth by 2 and above 75% by 0 (Clear flood mode)
so tom3, i'd try holding it at half throttle while cranking, if that doesn't help then make sure your coolant temp sensor is working correctly.
