FAST ECM connection
Hi,
Im at a crossroads here with what to do with my new motor. Im thinking of maybe going carb, but would rather stick with the EFI. Ive replaced the 305 TBI motor, which used a 2-plug 746 ECM. Ive read the guide on repinning TBI to TPI. But! I have a slightly different problem, Im using a FAST ECM instead of a 730 ECM. I do have an adapter which connects the FAST ECM to the existing harness, but was for a different car, and is almost certainly pinned wrong. Any help on using the FAST ECM and doing the conversion would be great.
As a sidenote, Im using a Custom EFI Dart manifold, with a Wilson elbow and throttle body.
In my sig Ive got a procharger, which I am selling to get funds to finish the car.

Re: FAST ECM connection
I'm thinking of the same conversion but using a First TPI system on a 383 stroker with Brodix IK200 heads. The cam profile is the issue (Comp 280XFI) may be a bit much for the 730 ECM to easily tune so I'm looking at the Fast XFI system.
Let me know if you come up with any ideas.

Re: FAST ECM connection
I decided to go with Dynamic EFI's EBL system.
I aquired a factory service manual which is a big help.
I repinned the existing wiring harness to match a 730 ECM.
I rewired the fan controls to accept a dual fan setup.
Hope to have it up and running next month.

Re: FAST ECM connection
I used the factory service manual for wiring and repining instructions.
