TCC unlock during decel
A while back I was runing a 305 with the 7730 ecm and the AXXB code modified greatly to run my blown Z28 it ran great and was set to not unlock the TCC in decel.
Now I'm runing a 355 with the 7730ecm and the AUJP code and I matched all my Switches & constants for the TCC and that annoying decel unlock is back, and I can't seem to get rid of it, is there somthing different in this code, can anybody tell me what to set to get rid of that annoying decel unlock of the TCC.
or can I run the AXXB code in my AUJP MEMCAL and just change all the settings relative to the 355, fuel, timing, inj, ect...to match that of the AUJP.
I'm using TunerCat 8D ver. AB
Thanks in advance for your help
Louis

Thanks for that info.
I have a question though, Can I use the TunerCat ".tdf" editor and add some switches at 7E E1 A2 and set the mask to 01 to the 8D .tdf
then when I burn a new chip I can set the switches in TunerCat.
is this possible or do I need winbin, I've never used Winbin.
any help will greatly be appreciated.

In TunerCat $6E tdf there is a constant called "min load limit for TCC lock, high speed". This is the min %tps that the TCC needs to lock. So basically when you go below that %tps, it will unlock. My stock setting was 3.9%, but the ARAP bin has 0%. It would not unlock with the setting at 0, when you back off cruising above some xx mph. There is a low speed and high speed constant, as well as hystersis value. These values work, sorry cannot speak for the 7730 ecm.
Just that you have to make the decision to keep the TCC locked, under certain conditions.

Millican,
I looked in tunercat and found the edit file, put in the address and bingo there it was, thanks for the info.
I can't wait to try it out, but my trany let go Yesterday,
lots of crunching noise and major slipage.
It was a Hi performance unit built by Pheonix Transmissions here in Texas.
It was built to handle 700hp I was told, I guess not.
anyways Its in warranty, Going to the shop today.
