tc lockup?
Would it be better to change the low gear lock/unlock tables to like 50mph?This would disable lockup in first, second gear basically. Is non-lockup better for performance?I know there will be fluid temp rise issues. So would that be too much/right way to mod tables?? .730/700R4

The ECM won't lock the converter in first anyway I am pretty sure... also, lock up in first isnt a bad thing at all, that is the point of installing a manual lock-up switch. I personaly like having the convert locked until around 10 or 15 miles per hour cuz I love to engine break with my car.

Why would you ever disable the T/C lock up?
It gives you better milage ,less wear and tear on tranny and engine, cooler temperature and much more.
Most cars can benifit in performance by locking the converter at the right times, but not all -HP/TQ/gears dependant.
If in fact your car runs better unlocked the install a switch inline
to the TCC lock up wire so it cannot lock up,or install a 3 way switch so you can forck lockup and disable.
