Misc 749 Questions

For those of you who got a couple secs I've got a couple quesitons about the 749 swap. The car actually (kinda) runs on the 749 right now, but in trying to get it to run right and clean up the wiring I need a little more info.
I know the CCP no longer works, so do I swap back to an older style charcoal canister (should have one around somewhere) or just get rid of it altogether?
In trying to get the BPW vs EGR table set I can't figure out how to convert my number. I know the equations that are supposed to give me a value, but the number I get doesn't really make any sense relative to the values in the table. Is there some kind of conversion involved?
Thanks for any help.

For your charcoal canister do whatever emission laws allow you in your area. What number are you getting? Just convert it from dec to hex and that should solve your problem.

I don't have any emissions to worry about. I just hooked up my old charcoal canister for now. The number I'm getting is about 190 IIRC. How do you convert from Dec to Hex?

190 in hex would be BE.
