Clearing up VSS confusion
I just completed my TPI swap. I was running a 7747 TBI setup and switched to a 7730 TPI. I have the DC squarewave VSS.
I read alot of things on how to get the VSS signal to the ECM, alot of them were conflicting. So here's what I did and it works perfect.
1. In the AUJP bin I switched $8018 b6 = 0.
2. I ran the output from the DRAC (formerly pin A10 on the 7747 harness) to pin C6 on the 7730.
This may be common info but from what I read there weren't any concrete "yes this worked great" approaches.
