Bad Cable right?



If I keep holding down 1 those numbers keep scrolling along but it never links.
Toshiba T4900CT
Serial set to com1
10K across A&B
home made cable with max232 chip.
Anything to try before I make another cable?

Try getting ahold of who ever it was that supplied the cable diagram, or software.
