Progress but still OL surge

Finally pulled the ole girl out of "storage".
As some of you are aware, i've been fighting with an idle surge.
The car is the 92 in my sig. 383 TPI.
I finally replaced my stock 48mm tb with a 58mm tb. That fixed my minimum air requirements. Apparently the IAC opening on the 48 was too small to supply the 383 with enough idle air to keep the TPS voltage within a decent range. I also have increased my idle vacuum from the mid 40's to the upper 50's/low 60's. I had my runner mating surfaces machined flat. I found that the AS&M's didn't come flat. They were 30 thou out.
I also have had to increase my injector flow rate from 36 (which is the size it has) to 45lb/hr in order to get a decent BLM.

My distributor is now set at 8 deg mechanically.

NOW, I'm running SAUJP v3 $8D. I've changed the main spark table back to stock AUJP, changed the distributor setting to 16 and bumped up the closed throttle spark advance. The first 2 of these things combined smoothed out my Closed Throttle idle. No more surge. Changing the closed throttle SA did nothing. BUT my OL idle still surges. What do I need to do to stop the surge in OL?

I've eliminated the possibility of my surge being caused by the IAC. I did so by setting the IAC closed per the setting procedure and then disconnecting it. I started the engine with it closed and disconnected and still had the surge. While it was running I disconnected the EST connector and the surge stopped. Plug in the EST and the surge returns.

I'll be tuning my fuel via WB once the surge is gone.

Re: Progress but still OL surge

Update:
OL surge is gone
CL surge is gone
What remains is a slight surge while under slight acceleration and cruise.

I also changed the injector constant back to 36. The car didn't like cold idle.

Re: Progress but still OL surge

Bumped up the distributor setting SA from an actual 8 BTDC to 16BTDC.
I'm currently lying to the ECM.

A band-aid i'm sure but I haven't gotten around to doing it the correct way yet.
