7730 ecm prom Question
I want to know if there is a rev limiter in a 7730 computer other than the regular one that is the fuel cutoff limits.
I have a motor that want turn past 5100 - 5200 rpm. It sounds like it goes on a rev limiter? The chip program rev limiter is set to 9544 rpm. I have used two different computers and two different chips but no difference. I have changed ignition boxes also and even put it back on regular GM ignition.
I have changed cams in the motor and I think that the cam is the problem but I was wondering if there was another rev limiter. I have even changed valve springs on the motor to try that.

no, from what i've read there's not really a way to cut spark with this code.
i had my boosted car do that till i gapped the plugs down to .020, then it went away, so i knew i needed a cd box
