Need help with burning proms

Hi I have a 87 Corvette and I have a hand full of mods nothing to over the top but I'd like to learn how to burn my own proms can any start me off on the basics. Links Please and Thank you

I no you have to buy chips but dont know where and I dont know what kind of device you need to plug it in to the computer.

Ahh Vett love, reminds me of 1988 when I traded my 27,000mi '87 IROC for a 82 Vett lol.
What a driving disappointment!

I still lov Vetts anyway.
