Connector for 3 wire O2 sensor

I am switching to a heated O2 sensor and rather than cutting off the nice connector and wiring everything directly, I would like to buy the correct connector. Will my local GM dealer have this part? I looks like the same type of connector used for the TPS. The heated sensor that I am using is from a 1993 vette. Any info would be great.

These connectors are still available from GM, but it isn't the same as a TPS or MAP sensor. They are designed to only fit what they are intended for, and won't fit other sensors. You will probably have to go to the dealership and have them look up the other half of the O2 sensor connector. If they can't find it, let me know. I have the AC Delco book of electrical connectors.

Pep Boys also has a good selection of water tight connectors. I believe I saw two types of the three prong connectors there - one of the MAP type & one of the TPS type - they have indexing slots in different locations.

GMTech...could you check that P.N. for me (93 vette). The guys at GM want to sell me an entire underhood wiring harness for a 93 vette.

I left you an email about the whole ordeal. Thanks for your help

Steve, sorry it took so long, I have been super busy at work, but I did come through. the PN for the connector you are looking for is #12126012 This has the same two grooves you described to me via email, and comes with about 12" of wire. I posted it here to help everybody. Your cost through a dealer is $35 but through GMpartsdirect.com it should be about 15-17 bucks I think. Go back and rub that in the dealers face. Later.
