Help-lighting prob

Whenever i turn on my headlights no other lights go on <i.e the rear lights and the interior night lighting> is this a common problem easily fixed, if so how. Also not working are the power door locks i dont know if that is relevant. Also all other lights in the rear function normally <i.e brake and turn signals.>

Closely check all the fuses. We need to know the year and type of car. Headlight wiring is vastly differently from year to year and model.

Actually it was the fuse. I didnt know there were so many fuses for the tail section. I saw brakes and turn signal working and didnt know the other fuse existed <it would be simple if the lettering still existed on the box>. BTW is there a site that shows the fuse box for an 86 iroc.

What did you replace? This sounds the same as what's happening with my car.
