I've got a push botton ignition in place of my cig lighter. What do you want to know?
I wanted to be able to use it along with the key ignition. First thing I did was disable the VATS in the eprom, then I rewired the starter enable relay (behind drivers kick panel) to come on when the key is in the on position. From that I ran a positive red wire to the back of the fuse block where the large red wire comes in and then to the tan w/white wire. This way the push button starter is just an override and still requires the key to start the car, also having it go into the tan w/white wire makes certain you don't start the car when it is in gear (or clutch is out).
I was able to locate a harness plug that was left open and had both the tan w/white and purple (direct to starter) wires. If you can find that then just run a wire from the new pushbotton starter to that plug with a simple male blade terminal end. It's PLENTY tight in the harness that you won't have to worry about it coming out. Any other questions?
