Output wire buzzing and vibrating, help please!
Hey guys. A little background for you. I just bougth a 91 firebird with a v6 engine. I talked to the mechanic who had worked on the car and asked him about the A/C and he said theres a leak in the compressor.
Well, when I turn the A/C on, I noticed that the output wire from the rear of the alternator makes a periodical buzz and vibrates. Im not a big car expert but this sound doesn't sound normal at all. It only happens when the A/C is on.
The nut that holds the wire is pretty tight and the alternator is brand new.
Thanks for helping
