Gauge fuse blows every time the ignition is set to "on"
Without fail, every time I turn the car on (not start, just put the key in the ON position) the gauge fuse will blow.
I've done a search, read most of the threads. Some people say check the EGR solenoid, and see if the wires are loose, or shorting out. Nope. Not my problem.
But I'm grasping at straws here because I don't have a wireing diagram. My chiltons manual doesn't contain what I'm looking for.
Can anyone shed some insight on this matter? Or at least post the diagram so I can track things by myself?

So no-one knows a thing about this slightly common problem? I turned up enough search results to fill 2 pages. However, none of them contained solutions.
Oh well, I'll just have to thank Trixter for sending me those diagrams. Otherwise I'd be up a creek with no paddle.

Hello FruityOne,
How are you doing today, glad you liked those schematics I sent you. If you will look at the schematic labeled "Engine Data Sensors and Transmission Converter Clutch". You will notice that the "Gage" fuse connects to pin "B" of the Brake switch with a pink/black wire. A purple wire goes from pin "A" of the Brake switch to pin "A" of the Torque Converter solenoid (four pin connector on driver side of transmission case). Is it possible that you may have messed up the wires for the Torque Converter Clutch solenoid inside the transmission case when you were doing that shift kit modification.

Its possible something could have gotten into the connecter during install. Something that my interrupt the TCC signals.
The transmission case was painted, I wonder if something could have gotten into the connector and interfered with the TCC.
I'll have to do something about that. Maybe replace the switch itself?
