Autometer Gauge Lighting wires
Well I've been searching and can't come up with the answer I'm looking for. I'm installing an Autometer 5" Tach and Oil Pressure/Water Temp gauges, I just need to know what wire under the dash I can tap the white wire for the light bulbs on autometer gauges into?
I'm going to be installing 3, so can I just wire all 3 together and then just run one wire down under the dash instead of 3 seperate ones?
Also, for the 12V Ignition switch wires on the gauges, from what I understand there is an empty spot on the fuse panel that is labeled IGN that I can just slide a connector into for a switched 12v source? Is it ok to run all 3 gauges off this one wire as well or is there another wire I should tap into instead?
Thanks for any assistance. I feel wierd asking these questions as I've wired so many things in the car already I feel I should know this

It would be a gray wire going from the "INST LPS" fuse to pin "C6" of connector "C1" of the instrument panel.
Yes there are two slots on the back of the fuse panel marked "IGN" and they are linked to the "GAGES" fuse. You should have no problem run your wires there.

After reading the instructions for the gauges I have one more quick question. For the gauge ground wire, it says to run the gauge's ground to a good ground near the sender, is it really necessary that I run a wire through the firewall just for a ground or can I just ground it anywhere? Any inside that travel out I can just tap into? I'm trying to limit the amount of wires I have to run to the engine bay.
