cluster panel bulb replacement

I KNOW its been discussed sooo many times here,
I ed the **** out about it in this forum.

what I dont understand is.. how do ppl know each bulb is what type,
like 168 184 194 and so on?

Im trying to convert my stock bulb to possibly a blue LED bulb,
and I just dont know what type of bulb to look for,
my car's a 91RS v6,
and I have a grant steering wheel so taking the cluster out is easy as hell.

but as for which bulb to look for, I couldnt find a blue bulb in autozone.. and I do see some, but they dont look similar and Im not sure if its compatible etcetc..

any tip is appreciated, thank you!

The number is stamped on the bulb.

but they aren't always easy to read. Also, you probably want this moved to the electronics forum, not fabrication.
