Re: anyone fix there headlight control module??
Hello, well just wanted to post what I did to my module. My headlight doors would not work or work sometimes. I took the module off the firewall, pulled it apart and took out the board inside. Everything looked clean with no burnt parts so I thought I'd check the soldering. Well after close inspection, I noticed that there were cracks around most of the large pins (the long silver pins that plug into the harness wiring sockets) After resoldering them, I plugged it back into the car and what do you know the headlights both work like new!!! A very easy, cheap repair, not saying that this is the only problem with your headlights not working correctly but this would be the first place to look for for problems. After 20 years or so the soldering will break and cause your headlight doors to stop working correctly. Well good luck.
